Mobile simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation is always the most efficient and reliable method. Different circumstances may arise, however, in which it would be useful to have interpretation but it is not possible to use an interpretation booth as the group is required to move around. This is particularly the case during field visits.
In this scenario, our team of interpreters makes use of mobile interpretation equipment. Our roving interpreters work alongside the group providing simultaneous translation which our clients are able to tune in to through wireless headsets.
Our interpreters are well-versed in this type of field visit which has a multitude of applications: visits to companies, factories or construction sites, for example, with the architect Daniel Libeskind, as part of building the Mons ‘Palais des Congrès’ (convention centre) or even on a coach during a visit to Helsinki with urban planners hailing from all over Europe. Our interpreters have even been known to don a pair of rubber boots to accompany farmers and European Commission representatives around fields!
